Hello hiking fellas.
It is time.
"TIME FOR WHAT" you ask? Time for Rabenkopf. Never been there, but on Sunday this changes.
Weather is a bit SUS. But we don't care too much
This is not very beginner-friendly, but overall a pretty safe hike. There will probably be snow, we might add another peak (if everyone's down) and probably finish with a swim.
Expected pace - ~350-500hm/hour ascend depending on snow, 800+hm/hour or ~4-6 km/h descend.
DEPARTURE: 8:05 from Pasing (or 5 minutes earlier from Hbf) -> 9:10 we're in Kochel
RETURN: XX:44 from Kochel. Probably we get 14:44 or 15:44
Bring:
1) A good mood (Zero Bad Mood Tolerance, you might be sent back if you're grumpy for more than a few minutes.)
2) Proper Hiking boots
3) Hiking/Trekking Poles
4) Head lamp!
5) Gaiters/spikes (might be useful but whatever)
6) 49 euro ticket
7) Towel if you're interested in a dip
8) Sunscreen is probably a good idea
Do not bring:
1) A bad mood
Other stuff:
- DAV membership (recommended)
- Proper rain/wind jacket
- Something to drink & eat to survive whole day of hiking (~2 Liters of water)- no hut stops planned
- A dry sense of humor (recommended, but not mandatory)
What I offer you:
- Fresh fruit: a kiwi and/or an apple (probably)
- Dried fruit/nut bar
- Wet toilet paper
What I do not offer you:
- Mountain guide services
- Other fruits
Disclaimer: Hiking can be dangerous. I am not a mountain guide, nor have I even done this hike. Everybody is responsible for her/himself. Make yourself familiar with the route and its requirements. It's recommended to download a map and bring a cell phone and first aid kit for emergencies.
