Description
Hi everyone! This is a Via Ferrata event 🧗♂️
Let's start the season with a moderately easy Klettersteig.
Idea is to go by car, hike a bit and then climb! 😉
We eventually hike back to the car park.
Hopefully the Route will be open by the beginning of June.

Event might get postponed/cancelled if the weather doesn't allow it or the Route is not open then.
Good to know
Things to bring:
- Hiking shoes or approach shoes
- Via Ferrata Set (Gürtel, Karabiner, Helmet, Gloves, Rastschlinge)
- Food/drinks for the whole day
- Hiking poles (optional), head lamp, sunglasses
- Download.gpx file in advance and ready with import to your tracking app/’s. Example gpx viewer
- First Aid Kit
- Most importantly, a good mood 😊
Disclaimer: I am not a mountain guide, so please be aware that you join at your own risk.
Not for via ferrata complete beginners. You should be comfortable doing B/C difficulty via ferratas.
You should have a via ferrata set and know how to use it.
Message me if you don't have prior via ferratas completed on your HB Profile.
No. of participants might be increased later depending on how many more people are interested in joining.

Hi everyone! The status as of 4th June on the Website states that the Klettersteig is still closed due to persistent old snow fields. And the rope is dismounted at the start, end and middle section. Hence, there is a high probability that this event will be cancelled. I will update again beginning of next week.

Hi, it says 2 parts are open, part 3 is closed. So it's still possible to do except last part, right?

yes, status on the Website got updated on 6th June. First two sections are now open. So let’s hope that the weather also is better and we do the Klettersteig as planned.
