Description

The weather seems to be pretty nice on Thursday, Let's Hike to Kofel in the Ammergau Alps. 

It is an easy hike however NOT a beginner-friendly hike. The summit ascent requires basic scrambling and sure-footedness is necessary.

There is a hut at the top, however, it's better to carry some food and water with you in case it is not open.

Good to know

Let's Meet at Munich Hbf at 9:10 am in front of Platform 31 and take RB6 to Garmisch-Partenkirchen scheduled at 9:32 am and get down at Oberau Bahnhof. From there we will take a bus to Oberammergau Bahnhof.

Things to bring:

  • Deutschland Ticket with ID card;
  • hiking shoes;
  • appropriate clothing
  • water (at least 1 l) and some food;
  • good energy and stamina.
