Description

A scenic hike with an opulent hut at the end. We're heading to the magnificent Wendelstein observatory, on a solid and steady pace, aiming at making it back down to Wendelsteinhaus for dinner comfortably before its closing time at 17:00.

Although not difficult, the distance does not make this hike suitable for beginners, so I'd politely ask you to join only if you're confident on you fitness level. :)

I advise that you bring some snacks and about 2 to 3 liters of water. For those who prefer to bring their own lunch rather than dining at the hut we can surely take a longer break somewhere on the way. 

The forecast claims that there might be some mild rain in the morning, but that is still quite remote and we shall have to keep an eye on the updates. 

Important! Please remember to leave the event in advance in case you can no longer make it.

Good to know

We will meet at the Central Station at 7.15 in front of platform 9. We're going to take the 7.43 train to Kufstein. 

What you should bring with you:

  • Hiking boots
  • 2-3 liters of water
  • Snacks
  • A rain jacket
  • A mobile phone (you can call me on +40 735 565 626 in case anything happens).
