Dear hiking buddies.

Caumesee is one of the most beautiful lakes that you can find here.

We will hike there and can have a little swimming/lunch break.

Nice woody area with lots of shadows. 
There is light rain announced for lunchtime and heavier rain for the evening, giving us some motivation to be fast :).

Time Frame:

I adjusted the meeting time to the train arrival at the station.

09:20 meet and start

around 13:30 one hour lunch break at the Caumasee

18:30 back at the station

There is a train leaving at 18:38 and 19:38, taking 1:40 to Zurich HB.

Meeting point:

Versam Safien station

Hike:

The hike is quite easy, but 25 Km is a long distance. It goes up a bit in the beginning, then we hike in the forest to the first lake.

After some picture time we proceed to the view points for the Rheinschlucht and then head to Caumasee, where we spend the lunch break. 

After that it is a bit up and down, with a long walk along the river at the end heading to the station.

Picnic:

The restaurant seems to be closed right now, but the web page says they have a food container to buy things.

Dont rely too much on it though :).

BBQ is not allowed there.

Equipment:

No specific equipment needed. Bring enough water.

Application:

As always there is the possibility to come by car.

Join the car pool and either create a car yourself or have a look who can take you there.

For those who come by public transport please create a "car" in the carpool with around 30 seats and use "public transport" as a description. That way others can join that one and we keep a good overview.

If that one is full, create another one with 30 seats please.

No maximum number of participants.
