Description

This is not a beginner friendly hike but will be relaxed and slow paced.

Please read the description on a web browser, images attached are not visible in the app.

Please read about the T-Scale before joining.

The route passes by the following peaks:

  • Heißenplatte (1593 m)
  • Aiplspitz (1759 m)
  • Tanzeck (1703 m)
  • Benzingspitz (1735 m)
  • Jägerkamp (1746 m)
  • Wilde Fräulein (1615 m)

Weather: Cloudy towards the end of the day, please dress accordingly.


Duration: 7 - 8 Hours (including 30 to 60 mins break). Not sure if the hut is open, if not we can go the restaurant in Spitzingsee after a short swim.

Travel: HBF Platform 34 at 0810

Return: Connections available every 30 mins, ideally will return to Munich by 1900


Good to know

Things to bring:

  • proper hiking shoes;
  • hiking poles;
  • food and water for the day;
  • layered clothing according to the latest weather forecast;
  • GPX viewer with the route information;
  • Swimwear, towel and change of clothes for the lake (Optional);
  • Deutschland ticket.

Optional:

  • first aid kit.

Dear all, the forecast for Sunday has changed significantly, went from 2 mm to somewhere between 10 and 20 mm of rain. I will keep an eye on it, if it gets worse by mid Friday, i might move the hike to Monday 20th, forecast looks good. Please write in comments if you have any preferences.

Hello everyone, just a quick update, the weather looks ok for Sunday although mild drizzles are expected after 15:00 but we complete the hike by then if maintain a good pace. Also I will make sure everyone on the waiting list is accommodated before the hike. Thanks and see you all soon!
