Dear hiking buddies.

Saturday we go to Obersee. It is just in the free snow area, with a nice lake and beautiful nature.

Time Frame:

09:30 meet and start

after 10Km, around 13:00 we are at the highest spot and can have a picnic there

18:00 back at the start

15min walking from the station Näfels-Mollis

Travel from Zürich HB:

08:12 departure Zürich HB platform 9

08:58 arrival Ziegelbrücke platform 9

09:01 departure Ziegelbrücke platform 10

09:07 arrival Näfels Mollis platform 1

Hike:

Classical walking up for the first half, walking down for the second half.

The start will be in the forest and then later on, after the lake, we do have a good view on the surrounding mountains.

Picnic:

Picnic at the highest point, around 13:00.

On the way back, depending on the group size, we can maybe stop at the restaurant at the lake and have a drink.

Equipment:

No specific equipment needed. Bring enough water.

Application:

As always there is the possibility to come by car.

Join the car pool and either create a car yourself or have a look who can take you there.

For those who come by public transport please create a "car" in the carpool with around 30 seats and use "public transport" as a description. That way others can join that one and we keep a good overview.

If that one is full, create another one with 30 seats please.

No maximum number of participants.
