Description
Dear buddies,
Lets go for a beautiful hike together this sunny Monday! 😁

What do you need to take part to this hike.

1) enough fitness
2) Deutschland Ticket (otherwise you can still join but you have to buy your own ticket)
3) please bring cash (many huts don´t accept card) and we need to pay a ticket for the bus from Kufstein to Durchholzen.
3) Team spirit. So put always an eye to the group and no gaps in the group please especially in winter never a good idea
4) Motivation to join the event. At latest you can unjoin event 12 hours before. Thanks for understanding.

5) please be punctual. Train leaves at 6,50

A surprisingly varied hike leads almost all year round to the Heuberg, which marks the eastern point of the Zahmer Kaiser and probably the best panoramic point in Kaiserwinkl. The inhospitable and forbidding Winkelkar on one side, the gentle alpine pastures and meadows on the other side make the Heuberg an exciting tour with great views from the Inn Valley to the Berchtesgaden Alps and deep views down into the Kaiserwinkl. Its north side, which slopes steeply down to Lake Walchsee, is densely wooded and seems almost impenetrable. The northern foothills of the 1,603 meter high mountain are full of lush meadows, where alpine cows enjoy until mid-September. The starting point for the hike is Durchholzen. The tour starts at the foot of the Hochberg and initially leads into the Winkelkar. As the stream rushes down to the left and right of the path, the walls of the Zahmer Kaiser, sloping to the north, come closer and closer. We follow the markings to the left and towards Heuberg. It gets steeper and rockier as the trail leads up to the Heubergsattel and gets your pulse racing. The forest slowly clears, the summit cross soon comes into view for the first time. A small bench and the incredible view of the sparkling Walchsee reward the approximately two-hour climb. The walls above the Winkelkar seem close enough to touch and yet are so far away. The Wilder Kaiser's peaks now shine through. Extremely striking on the southern horizon: The Ellmauer Tor between Ellmauer Halt and the massif around Totenkirchl and Fleischbank. Here you can enjoy an incomparable view of Lake Walchsee, the Inn Valley and towards the Chiemgau Alps too. After enjoying the peak, we take the path down to Kaisertal going through Hochalm and then we reach finally beautiful Anton Karg Haus, a place where many painters got inspired from the views. We have a break at the hut and then we cross the entire pretty Kaisertal with the river always running on our left till we reach Kufstein, our final destination.

I am not a professional guide, hiking can be risky. Everybody is responsible for him/herself and must familiarize with the route and its requirements. Please be punctual at the station. We dont want to get into the train last minute. It would be mabe no seats and unconfortable.
In case of problems the hike day you can contact me at 017643285424.

Looking forward to see you!! 😊
