Join me on this relaxing hike and let's have loads of fun! 😁

Leonhardstein (1449 m) is a mountain near Kreuth. The hike is short (~8km) however, there are some enjoyable scrambling sections. The pace will be relaxed as we don't have to cover a long distance. Due to the presence of scrambling sections, this hike is not recommended for absolute beginners. This hike is a good transition from "Bergwandern" to "Bergsteigen". So, please look at the map or watch some YouTube videos and decide if you want to join the hike. 

Disclaimer:

I am not a professional mountain guide. I expect everyone to be responsible and take care of themselves during the hike. 

Things to bring:

1. A good mood and a smiling face 😁
2. Proper hiking boots/shoes (Choose proper footwear for scrambling sections)
3. Spikes (Optional/good to have, it might help in scrambling sections if it rains)
4. Hiking poles (optional)
5. Gloves (optional/good to have)
6. Proper clothes (Please look at the weather and dress accordingly, it might rain)
7. Enough water (>2 lt)
8. Food and snacks
9. Deutschland ticket

Meeting point:

We can meet in front of Pl. 33 in Munich Hbf at 07:45. We will take the 08:03 train to Tegernsee as shown in the Itinerary below. If the platform changes, I will update you accordingly. It is also fine if you wish to join the group from some other train station along with way.

2. The weather prediction for the weekend is not great. The event might be cancelled/modified if the prediction gets worse. In case of any changes, I will update you in the comments section.
