Description
- I am NOT planning to go INTO Neuschwanstein castle, but we will see it from a distance (check the map)
- You will have to lift your lazy bones up 1km into the sky, so even if the technical difficulty of this hike is easy, the elevation gain makes it challenging if you're not used to it
- Don't sign up if this is your first hike ever, or in a long time
- We share Bayerntickets. The group size is fixed.
The Plan
- Pace will be relaxed
- We go up to Branderschrofen first
- Then (late) lunch at Tegelberghaus
- Nice views on the way down

- Water (2-3L)

The Time
- Expect to be back in Munich late, don't join if you have time pressure
- 07:30 Meet at Hauptbahnhof Track 30, we buy tickets together
- 07:50 Train to Füssen
- 10:05 Bus to Hohenschwangau
- 10:15 Start Hiking
- ~13:00 Reach the peak
- ~13:30 Lunch at Tegelberghaus
- ~16:00 Back on the ground

- Back in Munich: +2.5 hours
