This is a repeat event from March.
This is a beginner friendly hike but I expect you to have a steady pace. Please read about the T-Scale before joining.
The route passes by the following peaks:
- Benediktenwand (1800 m)
- Achselköpfe (1709 m)
- Latschenkopf (1712 m)
- Vorderer Kirchstein (1670 m)
- Stangeneck (1646 m)
- Brauneck (1555 m)
Weather: Partly Cloudy.
Duration: 8 Hours (including 30 mins in the hut if open)
Travel: HBF GL 32 at 0745
Return: Bus from Brauneckbahn or walk 1 KM more to Lenggries bahnhof (there are trains leaving every 30 mins)
Good to know
Things to bring:
- proper hiking shoes;
- hiking poles;
- food and water for the day (the hut is towards the end of the hike so please bring your own lunch);
- layered clothing according to the latest weather forecast;
- GPX viewer with the route information;
- Deutschland ticket.
Optional:
- headlamps;
- first aid kit.
