Description
I'm going to visit the 2 lakes above Mittenwald (plus the small waterfalls at Lainbach on the way down), to take some photos and try out some new filters and other bits and pieces. If people want to come along then please read the instructions. The basic plan will be to hike to the first lake (Lautersee) and then everyone can visit the lakes, have a picnic - whatever you want before meeting up back at the top of Lainbach before heading back to Mittenwald.
Good to know
Meet at Hbf at 7:10 to take the train at 7:32. Please be at the meeting point ready to go - i.e. with all your morning pastries and coffees already bought. I'm hoping the train won't be too crowded at that time, but may send groups of 5 onto the train if we get that many.
From Mittenwald bhf to the first lake is about 45 minutes, but maybe longer with photos. The intention is to get the train back from Mittenwald at 17:04 which leaves plenty of time to walk the lakes and chill out. We will share the costs of Werdenfels tickets. I've set the limit at 50 - in reality there is no limit (I don't think too many will come along).
Feel free to sign up if you are coming, but I'll only be counting people as they arrive tomorrow.
The hike is not dangerous, but it is near water - so I'll provide the usual disclaimer - you come at your own risk.
Also please note that in the morning at Hbf I'm usually counting heads and sorting tickets and so will not be answering my phone. I don't have internet access so messenger etc is also useless.
