Description

The weather seems pretty nice on Friday (5th July), Let's Hike to Geierstein from Lenggries Bahnhof.

It is an easy hike However NOT a Beginner-Friendly hike. The summit ascent requires basic scrambling and sure-footedness.

Let's Meet at Munich Hbf at 8:40 am in front of Platform 33 and take RB56 to Lenggries scheduled at 9:03 am.


Things to bring:

  • Deutschland Ticket with ID card;
  • hiking shoes;
  • appropriate clothing
  • water (at least 1 l) and some food;
  • good energy and stamina.


Disclaimer: Hiking can be dangerous. I am not a mountain guide. Everybody is responsible for themselves. Please make yourself familiar with the route and its requirements. Additionally, you could download the map, and bring a cell phone and a first aid kit.

hi, do I assume correctly that the train will get in Lenggries at 10:11? if so, I will meet you there since I plan to come by car! anyone wants to join the ride? I can pick up 3 people at Neubiberg S-Bahn at 08:45
