Description

I'm going to do Alpspitze, and try to avoid the weekend crowds.  I might try to grab a nearby peak, too ;)

Good to know

All the normal stuff.  I'll be hiking around 400 m/h, and this is NOT a beginner hike.  Familarize yourself with the T-scale before joining and make sure you are comfortable with the difficulty.  The route might be adjusted on the fly, so flexibility and a sense of adventure is appreciated.

Meet at Platform 30 and take the 6:32 RB 6 to Garmisch, and then the Zugspitze Bahn to Hammerbach.

The hike should be between 8 to 10 hours, so we'll have plenty of daylight, and we can take the cable car down if needed.


19:00 return trip should be very possible, getting us back to München around 21:30

I'm not a guide and you are responsbile for yourself, though.
