Hello everyone,

On Saturday, we will explore the idyllic landscapes in the north of Munich. We'll keep a brisk walking pace 🏃‍♂️. People outside this community will also join us. We'll be a small group of max. 8-10 people.

The route leads from Lohhof to Hollerner See, a picturesque lake surrounded by green meadows and forests. From there, we will hike to Mallertshofer Heide, known for its diverse plant life and breathtaking views of the surrounding area. The path continues to Mallertshofer See, a small and tranquil body of water surrounded by trees and grassy areas. Here, we'll take a break, eat our snacks, and enjoy the peace of nature. We will part ways in Unterschleißheim.

🔔 Participation requirements:

1. You are healthy and fit (realistic self-assessment required).

2. You arrive on time.

3. You are reliable. If you cancel last minute or don't show up, you will not be able to participate in future events.

4. You are on the waiting list only if you are actually available at short notice. Otherwise, please cancel your registration (see rule 3).

5. Only people with a recognizable profile photo and name can participate.

🎯 Meeting point: Lohhof S-Bahn station at 9:30 AM

You will recognize me by my gray Deuter backpack.

💶 Cost: S-Bahn M-1 Zone / Deutschlandticket

🏞️ Route (approximate): see here

🚶🏻🚶🏻‍♀️ Distance & walking time: 18 km - approx. 4.5 hours

🏔 Difficulty: easy - it will be a brisk walk (but no jogging!)

☝🏼 Bring with you: Water, snacks, bathing suit (optional), a seat mat, mosquito and sun protection, and definitely good mood 😄. It might rain lightly at times, so bring rain protection if necessary.
