Lets do the famous Seealpsee hike this Saturday.
The hike passes through beautiful lake Seealpsee where we will have a short break, people who loves to swim can do it here (me too). Then we will start the climb to Shäfler, highest point of the hike, to have the lunch break. There is a restaurant at the top to get some snacks. Path to Schäfler is T4, but is well secured. If you don't know about T-Scale checkout the blog - https://www.hiking-buddies.com/blog/2018/07/02/sac-hiking-scale/.
After lunch we continue along the ridge to visit Ebenalp, and shortly after that Äscher mountain hotel known for it's structure and unique location. Please bear in mind that this is a very touristic place.
If you love your knees and want to save them for another day you can take gandola down from Ebenalp to Wasserauen. It's every 15 minutes and last one leaves at 7 PM.
Starting and end point: Wasserauen, Bahnhof
How to arrive there: By public transport
By Car - Use gps.
Pace: Moderate, 400m elevation gain per hour. I will adjust based on groups speed.
Everyone should have: Hiking shoes (T4 section), poles (optional), proper clothes (depending on the weather), food, and water. Whoever is sensitive to sun should take sunscreen. And Swimming Suit (optional).
How to join -
As always there is the possibility to come by car.
Join the car pool and either create a car yourself or have a look who can take you there.
For those who come by public transport you can join the fake car I created.
