Description

We meet at 7:45 at Munich Ostbahnhof and take the BRB RB56 to Lenggries at 8:08.

In Lenggries we have a short walk to the Brauneck cable car Talstation and go by the cable car up to the mountain, which costs 25€ both ways.

We are going to have lunch break at the Tutzinger Hütte.

I wish to catch the last cable car going down at 17:00.

We go back to Munich with the BRB RB56.

Important to know:

This hike requires surefootedness and freedom from vertigo. The trail is exposed in some places.

Ticket:

It is necessary to have Deutschland tickt (49€) otherwise you should by yourself. The cable car costs 25€ both ways.

Mandatory:

- good mood and smile :o)

- suncream & sun hat

- proper hiking boots. Sneakers are not proper hiking boots. This is non-negotiable. In case of doubt: proper hiking boots

- food/water

- cash for the Tutzinger Hütte

He everyone. Friendly reminder: we have some time constrains tomorrow. We start hiking around 10:00 and plan to catch the last cable car at 17:00. So if you are unsure, whether you can keep up a healthy speed (2 km/h on alpine terrain, all breaks included) all day long, you might turn the anyway challenging hike into a death march (for you, me, and everyone else involved), because you gonna have to descend an additional 4 km (750 m elevation) to get back to Lenggries. But hey, shared suffering brings people closer together. :o)

platform 12, last wagon of RB 56/57, no destination is written on it though
