Bonjour hikers!
Let's go to French speaking Switzerland on Saturday. We'll do stage 20 of Via Alpina in reverse, from Montreux to Rochers de Naye. We'll take the funicular down to Montreux in the end.

Via Alpina is a classic among the long-distance hikes in Switzerland. This trail takes you once through the northern Alps of Switzerland in a series of 20 daily stages. Its 14 Alpine passes and great variety of Alpine culture, flora and fauna are the fuel of a hiking enthusiast’s dreams. The Via Alpina is a challenging mountain hike through the picture-perfect landscapes of the Swiss Alps.

Route: T2, just don't be too scared of heights, have shoes with good grip. If you don't know what the T-Scale is, read this blog (click here).
Pace: Moderate pace, for which you won't have any problem if you're doing sports regularly.
Meeting point: Montreux station - 10.05
Transportation: Connection arriving from Zürich at 10.03. Take IC 1 from Zürich HB to Lausanne (07.32-09.41), then IR 90 from Lausanne to Montreux (09.46-10.03).
What to bring: Hiking shoes, plenty of water, sunscreen, food and anything else you might need.
Out of respect for the others, please be on time!
