This is a short hike ending with a sunset drink/maybe dinner at Schlierbergalm (I’ll call the hut to check if there’s a table for us ;-) ). Please read the description below.

Route: Starting from the Schliersberg-Seilbahn Talstation parking (click here to see in Maps), we will need about 1h to reach Rohnberg, the highest point. We'll then head towards Schlierbergalm for a drink while watching the sunset. You can see the schedule below.

What to bring:

At least water (1L) it’s going to be scorchio.

Bug spray

Cash for the hut (warm kitchen is open til 21:00, I’ll try to reserve a table for us tomorrow and confirm food plans)

Schedule

• 15:55: Meet at Ostbahnhof platform 12
• 16:08 : BRB RB56 departs to Schliersee (to Bayrischzell)
• 16:57: train arrives @ schliersee 
• 17:10: start hiking
• 18:40: Rohnberg
• 19:10 Schlierbergalm (1 hour break)
• 20:00 descend /watch sunset (20:45ish)
• Return Trains are either 20:59 or 21:59, arriving Ostbahnhof at 22:05 or 23:05 respectively. I’m not the sort of person who likes to rush so personally I’m happy to take the later one and enjoy this summer evening without a storm!!
