The wetter seems to be good tomorrow in the Ammergauer Apls. There will be some rain in the morning before our hike starts and again some hours after our hike finishes.
This is a good chance to reach the peak of the Austrian Ammergauer Apls, the famous Daniel.
This is a T3 hike so please join only if you have similar hiking experience and you are sure you can keep a pace of 400m elevation per hour.
We will depart at 8:31 from Munich Hauptbahnhof /gleis 28 to Garmisch-Partenkirchen and from there we will take the RB60 to Lermoos.
If everything goes as planned, we should be down in Lermoos at around 5 pm but please do not plan everything for the evening before 9 pm since we do not know how our return way will be. It depends on multiple factors.
Please bring enough food and water(at least 2L) for the entire day since there is no hut on the way!!!!
Equpement required:
-proper hiking shoes
-confortable clothes
-water and food for the entire day
-Id/passport/drive licence for identification since we are going to cross the border
-Deutschlandticket - only if you have it otherwise you will have to pay your own ticket
-sun protection (cream, cover - whatever is best for you)
-rainjacket (just in case)
-the GPX downloaded in your phone (best adapted for the offline use)
-powebank
-some cash in case of necessity
