Hello Hikers !!!
Let's hike to Brünnstein on Saturday, 10th August.
This is NOT a Beginners Friendly Hike, there is a section before the summit where some basic scrambling is required, so before joining the event Please Download the map and check the distance and elevation if it's suitable for you.
The weather seems pretty decent on 10th August, and I hope it stays the same. We will take a train towards Kufstein - RB54 and get down at Oberaudorf. There is a walk of around 3 km from Oberaudorf Bahnhof until we reach the Hike's starting point.
There is a hut Brünnsteinhaus, However, it's always good to carry some food and water with you.
Please be there on time as the train might get full and we won't get any place to sit.
Things to bring:
- Deutschland Ticket with ID card;
- hiking shoes;
- appropriate clothing
- water (at least 2 l) and some food;
- good energy and stamina.
Disclaimer: Hiking can be dangerous. I am not a mountain guide. Everybody is responsible for themselves. Please make yourself familiar with the route and its requirements. Additionally, you could download the map, and bring a cell phone and a first aid kit.
