Very efficient path suitable for a trail or fast hike.

Outstanding views over the Vercors and the Dévoluy, without obstacles. Grenoble is a well visible from the summit.

The way up to the Tabor is going through a classical alpine path, with very few places where using the hands can help. Reasonably well marked with little doubt about the direction to follow up to the summit.

The way down to the pass before the Piquet de Nantes is more risky : not all visible, it stays on the West side ( Saint Honoré), avoiding the east, steep side. In case of low visibility, it is recommended to avoid this path and return by the same path to Saint Honoré directly from the tabor.

Automatic direction calculation (experimental feature, please provide feedback)

By public transport:
A bus is following the N85 from Grenoble to la Mure and stops nearby, but 700 m lower than the start of this hike. 4 to 5 daily.
A daily bus from La Mure to Cholonge exists but at times unsuitable at the time of writing.

None. Pack your stuff...
