Scenic hike over a ridge connecting Großer Traithen and Steilner Joch. Path can be muddy and slippery. Best to go on dry conditions. The descend is partly steep and secured passages with ropes exist.
Ascent: From parking lot to FellalmSattle easy T2 hike. From the saddle to the summit is quite steep and might be slippery (40 min according to signpost).
The ridge from Großer Traithen to Steilner Joch is easy and offers beautiful views.
Descent: The descent from Steilner Joch is steep and some parts are secured with cables. Must not be attempted in rainy/wet condition.
