Wendelstein (1,838 m) is one of most popular peaks in Bavarian Prealps, thanks to the cable car and cogwheel train. Because of its exposed position it offers a very good view into the Bavarian Alpine foothills and can be seen the other way round in a wide radius.

The route is technically easy (mostly T2) and very well marked. However, you need basic fitness to be able hike upto 12 Km and 820 m elevation gain.
