Route Information
Fairly easy hike - good for beginners - lots of tree coverage so ok in hot sunny conditions. This route includes Riederstein Chapel, but this can be missed out by following the easier path to Galaun. Descent from the chapel is via the pilgrims way - lots of steps.
Simply follow the signs - at the car park where the right hand path heads to Kreuzberg you may need to look for a gap in the grass for the path.
Galaun Hut can be very full at times and you may be better going to Tegernsee Braustubl instead.
Fairly easy route but the ascent can be slippery in wet weather
