This hike starts in the Hmong Hill Tribe Village on Doi Pui. You can get there by car, scooter, or motorbike. Roads have recently been improved, but they are still narrow, so drive carefully.

The trail leads you via the rock formation known as Buddha's Footprint, which offers beautiful sights. While descending, you will pass by agricultural plots and farms before reaching the second village of this trail. The village is just about to be developed for Thai tourism. The GPX leads you to a shop where you can buy food and drinks - if the shop is open, which can never be taken for granted. The way back leads you up to Buddha's Footprint again, but now via the steeper route. A very short part involves scrambling. The GPX ends in the best place for the typical Northern dish Khao Soi back in the Hmong Village.

This hike starts in the Hmong Hill Tribe Village on Doi Pui. You can get there by car, scooter, or motorbike. Roads have recently been improved, but they are still narrow, so drive carefully.

Food and drink opportunities in the village at the start, probably in the village at halfway, and again in the village at the end.

Trail-running shoes will do. Bring enough water, mosquito repellent, and sun screen for the more exposed parts of the trail.

Locals drive cars and motorbikes in the village and on some parts of the trail. They are generally happy to see foreigners coming there, but clear the road once you hear a vehicle approach.
