Kala-Alm Toboggan Run
Located in Pendling near Kufstein, the Kala-Alm toboggan run is prepared daily and always in top condition, making it a popular destination. The ascent begins at the Gasthof Schneeberg in Thiersee and climbs 390 vertical metres along the run itself. At the top the Kala-Alm hut offers wonderful views over the border into Bavaria as well as excellent local dishes. A traffic light system at the top of the run warns tobogganers of cars driving up to the Kala-Alm. This intermediate run offers an exciting 3km descent into the valley and is floodlit according to the opening times of the Kala-Alm mountain hut.
