Route Information
On this long and beautiful ridge tour we will visit five peaks in the Alps near the town of Oberstdorf.
Hike starts at the train station in Oberstdorf. From there we go on foot to Seealpsee Gasthof and from there continue on to the first peak, Rubihorn(1952m). From there we go back the way we came from and continue along the ridge on the Geisalphorn(1953m). From there the ridge trail goes to Geißfuß(1981m) and then continues on to Gundkopf(2063m) and Nebelhorn(2224m). From there we start to climb down to the Edmund-Probst-Haus lodge and start our way back to Oberstdorf by folowing the trail.
This hike is not for beginners as it is quite exhausting and exposed.

This route is not easy. There is a large distance covered and some areas are very exposed. It is only for experienced hikers with good fitness level, no fear of exposure and solid scrambling skills. One should have no fear of heights! Sure-footedness is required.
