The ascent of the Rotspitze 2.033, also known as "Schönheitskönigin vom Retterschwang" is a demanding summit crossing with an easy Via-ferrata and exposed sections saved with steel ropes in the Allgäu Alps high above Bad Hindelang.
Via-ferrata gear for absolute beginners is recommended. There is for instance a ~7m ladder along the way between Rotspitze & Breitenberg. In general this is a T4+ (I) alpine hike and not suitable for beginners.
Poles are recommended for the descent from the Rotspitze
