All major peaks, beautiful valley and 3 serene alpine lakes are in this route. World Famous Aescher hut is part of this route as well.

This tour can be done over 2 to 4 days. There are several huts in the area.

More challenging peaks is summit of Altmann for the last few meters of exposed scrambling.

Some parts of the trail is officially closed in winter due to exposed nature on snow such as Lisengrat , the ridge between Rotsteinpass and Säntis.
