Lichtbrenntjoch(Description and photo from Thomas) is one of the unknown peaks in the area around
Heiterwanger See and Plansee but worth a visit.
The trails are small, not well laid out and often not
visible but the peak offers breathtaking views to Plansee.
The way down is pathless with some tricky sections to
handle. Should be taken only by experienced people with good orientation
skills, you can also go the same way down.
In summer you can take a refreshing dip in the lake
afterwards.
