Großer Illing (1341m) is a nice viewing pulprit over Loisach valley.
As großer Illing is not mentioned anywhere on the marking/ signs, the peak is anything but overcrowded.
Most of the hikers you come across are those going to Heimgarten and using the same path (no. 441).
The small rocky mountain can be hiked from Ohlstadt bahnhof in a splash tour.
It's an ideal short tour for when you don't have much time or want to sleep in and start late with the hike. :)
It is a nice tour even when raining as well as when it's sunny.

There are no huts on the way however, when going to the hiking parking place in Heimgartenstrasse (where the tour actually starts) you can opt to reach the same parking area over Partenkichnerstrasse then Hauptstrasse and up to Heimgartenstrasse. There is a bakery at Hauptstrasse where you can get some food on the way up or on descent (of course during working hours :) )
