Tofana is a mountain group in the Dolomites. The highest peaks of the Tofane group are Tofana di Mezzo (3,244 m), Tofana di Dentro (3,238 m), and Tofana di Rozes (3,225 m). Tofana di Mezzo is the third highest peak in the Dolomites, after Marmolada (3,343 m) and Antelao (3,262 m).
Punta Anna: The starting point is the parking lot in front of Rifugio Dibona (no parking fee). The ferrata is very scenic and has difficulty level (C/D), you can find the topo here: TOPO
Tofana di Mezzo: From Punta Anna to Tofana di Mezzo is one of the most scenic via ferratas in Dolomites with difficulty level (C/D). There is a D variant but we didn't take that. You can find the topo here: TOPO
Tofana di Dentro: From Tofana di Mezzo, you follow the ridge towards Tofana di Dentro. The entrance of the ferrata is a bit confusing. You can find the topo here: TOPO
Tofana di Rozes: From Tofana di Dentro follow the same path as ascent to the saddle point between Tofana di Mezzo and Dentro. From there take the path on the right towards the glacier lake. Continue the marked path till steep scree slope. Some of the sections are exposed. After the scree slope, you arrive at Rifugio Giussani. From there follow the normal route to Tofana di Rozes.
Descent: Same as ascent. From Rifugio Giussani follow the marked path to the parking lot.
