Route Information
Isar, the river which goes through the heart of Munich, originated in Karwendel mountain of Austria. It goes down toward north via Scharnitz, Mittenwald, Lenggries, Bad Toelz, Grunwald, and then enters Munich. Further, it goes to Freising, Landshut, and then falls to Donau before the German town Deggendorf.
Some people have a dream to have a ride along with this complete trail.
one can start the ride from Mittenwald then go up to the Isarsprung after Scharnitz and then ride down along the Isar till Munich... and continue further till Deggendorf in the next days.
