A popular and relaxing route from Schliersee Bhf to Tegernsee Bhf over Gindealmschneid and Neureuth following 685 and Prinzenweg.

It's a T2 difficulty hike, not a T4. Have a look at the photos included and you'll see how the paths look like.

The section between Kreuzbergalm and Gindelamschneid is a hill that is a bit steep and in autumn can be muddy, but one can see the paths easily and there are many hikers going the same route :)

In winter time the descent section to Tegernsee also known as "summer route" closes and one needs to use the "winter path".

After Schliersee following Breitenbachstrasse to your right you will see a lovely Stauweiher pond where Breitenbach stream goes into.

Duration is approx. 4-5 hours depending on your pace.

Huts along the way: Gchwandbachalm, Hennerhof Kreuzbergalm, Gindelalm, Berggasthof Neureth.
