Route Information
The Guffert is a 2,195 meters high, prominent peak belonging to Rofan, Branderberg Alps.
Ascent over north ridge side. Descent over south side.
Only for experienced hikers, scrambling required. Some portions near to the peak are secured with cable cords. Steep ascending starts with the first cable section.
Surefootedness, head for height , alpine experience and good fitness level is required to do this route.
Be sure to check the weather & wind conditions prior to the hike. Strong winds at the peak are no fun :)
