Untouched landscapes and memorable views of Lake Eibsee and mighty mountain peaks including Germany's highest point, the Zugspitze.
Your adventure in the Eibsee-Zugspitze region is close at hand. When hiking the Eibsee loop trail, you will be rewarded with a breathtaking 360° view of the lake in just 1:45 hours. We start from the parking spot at Eibsee then proceed with a walking around the whole lake in a loop and then head towards the Hohes Egg.
Going to the peak (Hohes Egg) is option. The current trail is round the Hohes Egg and back to the parking spot.
By car: Drive to the Eibsee Parkplatz.
Note: Please pay attention that the parking spot is a classic "Abzock" parking spot. If you happen to leave the parking spot after 22:00, you have to pay an extra €40. The first 4 hours cost €5 with every additional hour costing €1. Now, insider tip, there are a few "limited" spots nearby and on the street that are free. However, during the summer, it can be a challenge to find a free spot as many will be heading to the majestic lake.
