This hike runs on solid and broad paths with some steeper sections. It is a good choice if the weather situation is unclear. The mountains should not be in too much clouds as you will miss the panorama view from Eckbauer on to the Wetterstein peaks.

Take the A 95 to Garmisch and further on towards Mittenwald. Just at the end of Garmisch turn right to the ski stadium. Via train to Garmisch and take the busline 1 or 2 to the stadium.
