Krottenkopf is the highest Mountain in the area so there is a fantastic view. The hike is planned as a round tour from Oberau. After the ascent to Hoher Fricken, there are only minor inclines to the next mountains Bischof and Krottenkopf. Shortly before Krottenkopf there is the Weilheim hut which serves food and drinks.
