Route Information
Starting at parking Winterstube.
Comfy hike on mostly cleared paths.
With snow shoes take the first possible turn left, crossing a small bridge over the Schwarzenbach. Same route is taken by ski tourer. Uphill on the other side until you reach the Skidoospur. On this one left until Buchsteinhütte.
Optional: you can go further on via Roßsteinalm till Hochplatte (1592 m). From there on via Plattel (1505 m) to Schönberg (1620 m). Descend via Marieck and Rauhalm to Schwarzentennalm.
IMPORTANT: Make yourself familiar with the local avalanche situation on the day of the winter hike as this one is only doable in totally secure conditions!
