Starting point: Hiker parking Spatenau near Unterstuff
Quite nice and varied hike. First along a mostly cleared forest road up to Doaglalm (Spatenaualm). The ongoing path is often prepared (gespurt).
Optional: If the conditions are right you might continue from Hochries via the Riesenhütte to Frasdorf. In winter depending on the snow conditions snow shoes might be handy for the section up to the Frasdorfer Hütte.
