Ascent: The starting point of the tour is the parking lot at Hinterstein. From there you can bike till Giebelhaus (approx. 8Km and 300 m elevation gain) on asphalt road. From Giebelhaus follow the wide forest road till Schwarzenberghütte. From there follow the summer path to Engeratsgrundsee for some time. Before Engeratsgrundalpe (unmaintained hut) turn left, the path becomes steep from here. Finally you cross the summer path again where can see the summit from distance.
