Hochfelln (1,674 m) is one of the most famous mountains in Chiemgau alps. The peak is very frequently visited whole year around, thanks to the cable car to the summit. The current tour was done with ski, probably with snowshoes it's not possible in winter.

Ascent: From the parking lot, follow the forest road next to the stream towards Fellnalm. From Fellnalm, the trail further to the peak becomes steep and must be done in safe conditions.

Descent: The descent is along the South East ridge and then turn right. This part requires traverse on a very steep face. It must be done only in very safe avalanche conditions. From Thoraualm, follow the forest road to the parking.
