The Aiplspitz (1759m) is certainly one of the most striking and beautiful peaks in the Spitzingsee area with great views of Wendelstein, Breitenstein, Rotwand and many more. It is actually easy to reach, but surefootedness is required on the summit ridge.

The Jägerkamp (1746m) at the Spitzingsee is usually wrongly seen as a “take-away summit” to the Aiplspitz. It is also suitable as a stand-alone tour destination, especially if you take the circular route we have described. The ascent runs over a well-marked and laid out path over the Jägerbauernalm, which is managed in summer, to the summit and over the large Schönfeldhütte back to the Spitzingsattel - so your physical well-being is well taken care of.
