DO NOT GO THIS ONE ALONE !!!
THIS DEFINITELY IS NOT A T1 CATEGORY QUEST!
This is a very special path! Being afraid of heights too much is a factor in this one as you literally walk on the edge of a vertical edge with a straight drop-down of over 200m.
Defintely bring a rope, climbing harness and a via ferrata set.
There are lots of hooks and some metal ropes to secure oneself. Also bring lots of quickdraws (we had 6 and it should have been more as we had to stop over and over to hand them to the front man again)
We were a group of five and the first part we did without rope and quickdraws but then decided to use them as it gave us more safety. The view is spectacular and the route all-in-all took us 4h.
We did it clockwise, ending with a very steep incline.
There are a couple of tricky sections where I used my sling with a carabiner to get across.
DON'T GO THIS ONE ALONE!
We had the following equipment:
- Via Ferrata Set (including a rest sling with carabiner that carries your weight)
- Helmet
- Gloves
- Rope
- Quickdrawers (I would recommend two per person)
