Route Information
Very easy hike, beginner friendly. It is a route highly recommended for a sunset hike, since you have a perfect view towards West and over the lake Kochelsee.
There's nothing technical on the way. The path can be quite steep sometimes, but not dangerous.
To reach the starting point, you can either:
- Go by car (50mn ride from Munich), and park for free (as of June 2021) here: https://goo.gl/maps/4d6vQD1tqcqc9fY8A
- Go by train to Kochel and then take the bus 9608 until the bus stop "
Fa. Dorst - Kochel a. See". Note that for a sunset hike this option is not possible, as there's probably no bus anymore that late.
