It
is two years now from last time I organized a hike in this area. And Summer comes. So two good reasons to go for a top tour, long and very
beautiful!!
We
drive to Tannheimertal, one of the most beautiful high mountain
valley in Europe and start our tour in Tannheim. We first hike
up to the Neunerköpfle. Summit cross of the Neunerköpfle.
In the background the Lailachspitze
2267 m; the Krottenköpf 2078 to 2180 m; on the right in the picture
edge the Lachenspitze with 2126 hm. They frame the Gappenfelder
Notländ, which closes the Birkental valley.
The approx. 250m serpentines in the
grass slope to the top are worthwhile because of the indescribably
beautiful view down to the Lache, the Landsberger hut, the Traualpsee and finally the Vilsalpsee
From the mountain station, the
Saalfelder Höhenweg leads to the Landsberger Hütte. But the best is yet to come. The
Schochenspitze is a cozy, good-natured Grasgipfel, which is easy to
climb. The view is dreamy, as you have the most complete
overview of the almost crater-like Vilsalpsee, Oberetraualpsee and
Lache ( the two lakes below it from all mountain hut peaks of the
Landsberger Hütte). Dreamily, the Traualpsee and
Vilsalpsee shimmer in the depths.
The
view is really impressive. We go down till we reach Landsbergerhütte to have a drink and something to eat. Then we turn back direction Vilsalpsee, the last lake for today. one of the nicest lakes in Tyrol included in a nature reserve.
We spend sometimes along the shore to
enjoy the views and we finally head back to our cars in Tannheim.
