Ascent:

Start walking from Steinbergalm for ~500m before turning left next to the sign of "Gemeinde Bergen".

Short confusing part: For the next ~250m (100hm), the trail is faint to no trail.

It goes towards a low cows fence on the right side of it, cross it to the left and cross it back over a cut tree trunk.

Few meters after the fence wood crossing, turn left until you reach the clear trail, from which the way is easy to track.

Go down passing the "Grotte" and the huts until the right turn towards the ridge. The second half of the 200hm up is a bit steep and probably hard after rain.

Reaching the ridge to a huge pile of stones, turn right on a clear beautiful easy ridge trail (T2/3), until the main path towards Hochfelln summit.

Descent:

Start walking back towards the ridge trail and continue with the wide and comfortable walking trail bellow the cable car, over the Bründlingalm and back to the parking lot of Steinbergalm.
