Route Information
4 days around the Rosengarten Area. Hiking and Klettersteig.
Starting from Carezza and ending in Siusi
Day 1:
- Hike up or take the cable car to Paolina Hut
- Drop off other gear and carry Klettersteig set for VIA FERRATA RODA DE VAÉL AND MASARÉ
- Return to Paolina Hut
Day 2:
- Head from Paolina Hut Northwards towards Passo Principe (path 552/549) until Rosengarten Hut
- From Rosengarten Hut, continue towards Santner via ferrata
- Via ferrata ends at Santner Hut. Continue towards Passo Principe (passing Vajolet)
- Sleep at Passo Principe
Day 3
- From the Hut, go directly to via ferrata Catinaccio d’Antermoia (loop back to Hut, gear up as necessary)
- After Klettersteig, head towards Alpe di Tires (554/ 11a / Passo Molignon)
- Sleep at Alpe di Tires
Day 4 (or +1 daywith options)
- From Hut, klettersteig to Maximiliansteig (also loop from Hut)
- Optional - visit Schlernhaus/Petz peak (+2hrs)
- Grab gear and head towards the North towards Sieser Alm (path 2)
- Take gondola down to Siusi, or walk (+1.5hrs)
