Start at the Wanderparkplatz in Krün near Scharnitz. Follow the forest road until Fischbachalm (1402 m) . Follow either Lakaiensteig or along forest road to Soiernhaus (1622 m). You can cycle all the way till here.

From Soiernhaus take the path towards west and go up to Schöttelkarspitze (2050 m). From here go via Feldernkreuz (2048 m), as well as Feldernkopf (2071 m) along the Soiernschneid until Soiernspitze.The last section until the summit is through rubble and rock underneath Reißenden Lahnspitze up until 2257 m.

ALTERNATIVE:

Go straight from Soiernhaus to Soiernspitze on path No. 361, passing the lakes and through the steep Soiernkar to the summit.
